Victoria Davison

Victoria (Tori) Davison is a native of Ada, Oklahoma.  She received her Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree in Voice-Teaching from Tulane University.

After pursuing a successful career in commercial real estate in the Washington, D.C. Metropolitan Area, she received the prestigious and coveted MAI (Member, Appraisal Institute) Designation.

Davison married, moved to the Ada area and later felt called by God to go in a different professional direction, returning to music. From 1998-2001, Davison studied music composition with the late Bob Parr, a well-known Oklahoma professional musician, teacher and music historian who, in turn, had studied under Paul Hindemith.

In 1999 Davison's first choral anthem debuted at St. Luke’s Episcopal Church in Ada under the direction of Bob Parr. In 2004, Davison was honored when the East Central University Chorale premiered three of her choral anthems under the direction of Dr. Steven Walker.

 
Rudy Lupinski

Rudy Lupinski was born in Heidelberg, Germany but his family moved to Ada, Oklahoma when he was almost two years old.  He has lived in Ada most of his life.

Rudy received his B.A. in Instrumental Music Education from East Central University (ECU) in 1976 and did graduate work in Music Theory at the University of North Texas in Denton, Texas.

Since 2004 Rudy has been an adjunct professor at ECU, but  in 2012 he was hired as a full-time faculty member.  He teaches music theory, piano, and serves as the university's staff accompanist.  He is also music director and organist at St. Joseph Church in Ada.

 
Davison-Lupinski

In 2005, Tori Davison and Rudy Lupinski formed a musical partnership in creating choral music.  Tori provides the subject and vocal parts and Rudy adds accompaniment (if needed) and edits. To date, they have completed 71 compositions, including their first large-scale work, Requiem. They also have 5 other works pending at this time.

Currently, Davison-Lupinski are the resident composers for the East Central University Chorale and Singers which are under the direction of Dr. Steven Walker, Ada, Oklahoma.

Davison-Lupinski have works published by Santa Barbara Music Publishers.
